Man held up southeast Calgary store with large knife Calgary police are looking for this man in connection with a liquor store robbery in Forest Lawn-Forest Heights on June 23. (Calgary Police Service ) Police have released images of a man wanted for a violent holdup of a liquor store in southeast Calgary last month. The man entered the T & T Liquor at 4608 17th Avenue S.E. on June 23 at about 6:40 p.m, according to police. Video surveillance footage shows the man as he comes to the counter, pulls out a large knife and demands money. Police are looking for a man who robbed a liquor store armed with a large knife on June 23 in southeast Calgary. pic.twitter.com/qW83fMiDp6 — @CBCCalgary The store clerk complied and the culprit left with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is believed to be from 35 to 45 years old and about five feet eight inches tall. Police estimate the man weighs about 260 pounds. He had a black goatee and beard, black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers. |
