Photo by David Bloom/Postmedia An Edmonton woman and her dog are dead after being hit by an SUV on Saturday night. At around 7 p.m., police said the driver of a green Lexus SUV struck a 57-year-old woman and her dog while crossing at a marked crosswalk at Suder Greens Drive between Lewis Estates Boulevard and Potter Greens Drive. The woman and dog died on scene. Police said a 42-year-old man was driving the SUV, along with his 40-year-old wife and 12-year-old son. No charges have been laid at this time. The major collision unit is investigating the crash. |
